Property and Cancellation Policies
For standard reservations, the hotel charges the guest's credit card for the first night's room rate and taxes. For nonrefundable reservations and promotional discounted reservations, the hotel charges the full amount of the stay at the time of booking: if the reservation is cancelled for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded. A mandatory $100 incidental fee is due upon check-in for each room. This fee will be returned at check-out.
Standard Reservations: Our standard cancellation policy is 48 Hours prior to the arrival date and time (before 3pm Eastern Standard Time. if your reservation is due to arrive on October 10, 2026, the latest you can change or cancel your reservation without any charges, is before 3pm (EST) on October 8, 20244. If you cancel after 3pm on October 8, 2024, you will be charged the first night's room and taxes. Discounted reservations are nonrefundable.

Non-Refundable Reservations: For Non-Refundable reservations, a deposit of 100% (percent) of the stay will be charged at the time of booking. If the reservation is cancelled for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.
LATE ARRIVAL:
If you are expecting to arrive later than 11pm, please notify us in advance. We're not obligated to keep your room after midnight without a late arrival notification. If your room is given to someone else after midnight, you will still be charged for the first night's room and taxes.
This is a 100% non-smoking hotel. Any room deposit you may have will not be refunded and will be used towards the $250 recovery fee if signs of smoking are present.
Doxie Hotel (Hotel) reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws. We have a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service in our hotel or may remove a person, with or without a reservation, checked in or not yet checked in, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the State of New York and the owners and management of the hotel. Hotel will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests or the Hotel staff; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; Destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to hotel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room.
All valuables can be left in the room safety deposit box. The hotel is not responsible for any valuables lost or missing. All lost and found are kept for 10 days from the checkout date. Hotel is not responsible for holding on to any goods beyond.
There is no cancellation, nor changes, nor refunds allowed on any walk in reservations.
All visitors who are not under the reservation must be announced at the front desk before entering the room; visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all time. Visitors are expected to follow the same rules as hotel guests. The Hotel reserves the absolute right to deny entry to visitors in order to ensure the safety and peaceful enjoyment of its guests.
